New construction or additions to homes: $.25 per square foot of exterior 1st & 2nd floor area (area includes decks, covered patios and garage) $250.00 minimum fee
New Homes- Tapping Fees for water & sewer ($250.00 each) $500.00 total
$50.00 deposit on water/sewer services required when water is turned on
*Note: Water was not stubbed to property line at Stephen’s Ridge. The homeowner or builder must secure service to the water main.
ACCESSORY BUILDING PERMIT (Garages/Sheds)
$.10 per square foot of floor area ($50.00 minimum fee)
SIGN PERMIT
$.50 per square foot of total display area ($50.00 minimum fee)
FENCE/RETAINING WALLS/OPEN DECK PERMIT $25.00
VARIANCE REQUEST
$125.00 (non-refundable)
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

SWIMMING POOL PERMITS
One-time permit charge of $30.00 for temporary or permanent pools (temporary pools have to apply each year, but there is no fee to reapply). A swimming pool is any artificial basin of water that contains 500 gallons or more or has a depth of 3 feet or more.
DRIVEWAY/SIDEWALK PERMITS
No fee, but a permit must be submitted to the City of Treynor three (3) business days before starting work for inspection and approval.
